Polpette della Nonna

Who knew you could walk into Italy in downtown Santa Rosa, CA! You can tell the burrata is homemade. It was smooth and creamy and paired beautifully with ripe cherry tomatoes. The Margherita pizza was delicious! My daughter exclaimed, "I don't know how I can have another pizza again!" Not only was the crust cooked to perfection, the flavor of the red sauce paired with the fresh mozzarella melted in your mouth and left you wanting more! The Polpette della Nonna was accompanied by a hearty sauce and bread that made you feel like Nonna just made these herself! And don't wonder if you should try the Nutella pizza - just do it! L'Oro Di Napoli is a gem, and I am very happy I have found it!

Montanara mortadella

1st visit for early dinner @ 5PM; Though loud, very lively - Total Naples vibe; seated in main dining room. Fab waiters/bussers; our waiter Alessio spoke Italian & super efficient style/service! Montanara Twist Romano w/mortadella/cheese/pistachios in warm crispy pastry was so unique perfectly made - Caprese salad w/marinated tomatoes/burrata/basil + prosciutto was nicely presented with generous prosciutto slices - Pasta Amatriciana w/medium spiced sauce & crispy guanciale + homemade spicy oil, cheese & red pepper flakes for extra kick - pasta was perfect al dente; another generous portion - delizioso! Langhe Nebbiolo wine very fruit forward & light and a bready Dolomite Pilsner was very good. Pistachio cake was light and divine! Very large Italian wine list appreciated.

Pizza Special

I'm born and raise in Italia and moved here 5 years ago and I'm very picky for Italian food. This restaurant is the real deal! The Pizza taste like the pizza I eat during my childhood and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding. I tried so many restaurants promoting themselves as Italian, and this is the only one I can honestly state to meet and exceed my Italian standards. Their Pizza Primavera and Pizza Mortadella and Pistacchio are a masterpiece of Italian culinary art, the dough is very digestible with a thing layer on the center and larger crust on the border like a real Pizza Napoletana, the flavour is rich but balanced leaving you with a satisfies taste in your mouth. The burrata and Prosciutto taste like real Italian one! Incredible for me! Best Italian Pizzeria I have ever been in the whole SF area.

Marinata

This marinata is basically like the Napolitano just with a slightly different sauce, truly traditional with no cheese add anchovies. It is absolutely epic just like you're in Naples. I stand by My statement of "Loro is the best Pizza In California"
